Job Description
Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate and play a vital role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our valued customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate designated Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and support a positive shopping experience
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling procedures
- Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and ensure data confidentiality
- Execute additional assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capability to follow safety procedures, including equipment operation and cleaning tasks
- Strong communication skills and adherence to company policies
- Organizational proficiency with attention to detail and multitasking ability
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior retail experience a plus
