Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking product, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and adhere to cash handling policies
- Comply with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
