Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's smooth operation, from merchandising and stocking products to providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with team members, assist customers, and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with their needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts following guidelines and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document and data security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
