Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Maintain inventory accuracy and participate in inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold store standards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Safe operation of equipment and ability to follow company policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively
- Meet state and local requirements related to alcohol sales
- Prior retail experience preferred
