Job Description: Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) at Aldi
As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Position Type:
Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Physical Demands:
- Stock merchandise and place products on shelves.
- Requirements include bending, lifting up to 45 pounds, standing, and walking.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt customer service and operating a cash register.
- Ability to use equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to follow instructions, and work both independently and in a team.
- High school diploma preferred, retail experience valued.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience desirable.
