Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ALDI's M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) standards.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain confidentiality, and follow procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and equipment required for the role.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties and adhering to company policies.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
