Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with the ALDI team and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Report product feedback, inventory issues, and operational concerns to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures to safeguard security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of executing general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and work experience equivalent to industry knowledge.
