Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our Aldi team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to create a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, participate in inventory counts, and provide feedback on product issues.
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and ensure security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties per company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous retail experience is a plus.
