Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring inventory.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register with accuracy.
- Safe and proper use of store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning duties as per standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Fulfill state and local regulations for alcohol handling and sale.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
