Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) at ALDI, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will uphold high standards of customer service and contribute to a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support in enhancing the shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Follow inventory guidelines, monitor accuracy, and report any issues.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies, maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Perform physical tasks including stocking shelves and operating equipment.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Experience with cash register operations and equipment handling.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies accurately.
- Strong communication skills and the capacity to work independently or within a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task efficiently.
- Meet state requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
