Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. This position offers a starting wage of $18.00 per hour for an average of 32-40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate with team members
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
- Adhere to cash-handling policies and company procedures
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Follow company policies ensuring security and confidentiality
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold store standards
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
- Skilled in equipment operation and general cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
