Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be trained in all aspects of successful store management, preparing you to run your own store effectively. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring high customer service standards, managing staffing needs, and developing operational plans while mentoring and leading the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day store operations to provide excellent customer service.
• Understand company strategy and core values, fostering teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer concerns and ensure resolutions.
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards.
• Participate in hiring processes and manage schedules.
• Conduct store meetings, performance evaluations, and provide feedback for improvement.
• Manage cash audits, monitor competition, and oversee merchandising.

Requirements

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Familiarity with retail policies and procedures.
• Operational and budget management skills.
• Experience operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Organizational and multitasking capabilities.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
