Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of store management to prepare you for a successful career in overseeing store operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day store operations to deliver top-tier customer service.
- Communicate and uphold the company's core values to foster teamwork among staff.
- Manage customer inquiries and ensure efficient issue resolution.
- Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards.
- Participate in the recruitment process and conduct interviews for new hires.
- Create and adjust weekly schedules to meet staffing requirements.
- Provide guidance and set performance expectations for team members.
- Lead store meetings and identify training opportunities for staff development.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills and leadership abilities.
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies effectively.
- Prioritize tasks, set goals, and ensure work completion to high standards.
- Operate cash registers and store equipment efficiently and accurately.
- Stay organized, multitask, and pay attention to detail.
- Meet all local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience.
- Combination of education and experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge.
- Previous management experience is advantageous.
