Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be trained in all aspects of store management to prepare for running your own store successfully. Your responsibilities will include supervising day-to-day store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational plans while fostering team growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise team performance to deliver top-tier customer service.
- Communicate and uphold the company's values to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure prompt resolutions.
- Maintain store signage, product quality, and store cleanliness standards.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of store personnel.
- Establish and manage work schedules to meet store staffing requirements.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for team improvement.
- Ensure store compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory and merchandise displays effectively.
- Operate cash registers and other store equipment efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated customer service and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with retail management practices and budgeting.
- Proficiency in operating store equipment and handling cash transactions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
