Job Description
Meals On Wheels Inc. of Tarrant County is looking for a dedicated Grant Specialist to join our team. The Grant Specialist will play a crucial role in securing funding for the organization through grant proposals and maintaining strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research grant opportunities from various funding sources.
- Draft and submit high-quality grant proposals and supporting documents.
- Manage grant application and reporting deadlines.
- Cultivate relationships with funders and stakeholders.
- Prepare grant reports and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with internal teams for program/project budgets and storytelling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in grant writing.
- Strong research, organizational, and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of fundraising processes and Raisers Edge preferred.
Requirements
- Experience in writing, tracking, and reporting on multiple grants simultaneously.
- Ability to understand programs and funding requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer skills.
Compensation
$19-22.5 per hour
