POSITION TITLE: Group Fitness & Studio Team Lead (GFSTL)
COMPANY: VASA Fitness
JOB TYPE: Full-time
SALARY: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour + Commission and Bonus Opportunities
REPORTS TO: General Manager
JOB SUMMARY: As a Group Fitness & Studio Team Lead at VASA Fitness, your role is vital in creating an uplifting fitness experience by maximizing studio and group fitness usage. You will be responsible for recruiting and staffing, achieving results to maximize studio/group fitness usage, delivering a world-class member experience, training and coaching instructors, and ensuring care and connection with members and guests.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and staff qualified instructors and coaches to drive club traffic and member engagement.
- Analyze business performance to achieve financial targets and KPIs in studio and group fitness spaces.
- Ensure class schedules are competitive, on-trend, and convenient for members.
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-equipped studio and fitness rooms.
- Train, coach, and support ongoing instructor development.
- Deliver a high-energy and motivating fitness experience to create a sense of community.
Requirements
- Prior experience in fitness industry or group fitness instruction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze business performance and drive results.
- Passionate about creating an inclusive and uplifting fitness environment.
