Job Description
We are hiring a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This is a full-time position based in Reno, NV. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations near our consolidation/distribution center. The role also includes loading and unloading trailers using standard techniques and procedures.
General Description of Duties
- Pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Loading and unloading trailers using standard techniques.
- Duties and schedule may vary based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training available for candidates with less experience).
- Class-A CDL with endorsements including doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials.
- Stable work record and safe driving history.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet medical requirements.
