Job Description
We are currently seeking a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This full-time position based in Reno, NV, offers an opportunity to work for one of the country's leading LTL carriers. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, along with the loading and unloading of trailers using industry-standard techniques and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting pickup and delivery operations within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Utilizing forklifts and following safety protocols for loading and unloading trailers.
- Adhering to assigned schedules and performing duties as per terminal location requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training available for candidates with less experience).
- Class-A CDL with required endorsements and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment screenings.
