Hoosier Hills Insurance is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing top-tier service to our members and insureds, ensuring their insurance needs are met with excellence. This position involves building and strengthening relationships, advising members, and facilitating various insurance-related transactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external members in alignment with our corporate mission.
• Act in the best interest of the member and the Credit Union at all times.
• Provide knowledgeable and professional assistance to members, addressing insurance inquiries and issues effectively.
• Support insurance producers in recommending and selecting suitable products for members.
• Maintain accurate account records and ensure compliance with insurance policies.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance member satisfaction and achieve sales goals.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of insurance products and services.
• Demonstrated customer service and sales abilities.
• Ability to analyze data and establish positive working relationships.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Property Casualty license preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in an insurance agency is advantageous.

Work Environment

• Normal work environment with physical mobility and ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Requires agility, dexterity, and coordination.
