Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team at Oakley Township Center. As a Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and educational environment for young children to thrive. You will be responsible for maintaining a healthy and organized learning space, promoting positive social and emotional development, and establishing supportive relationships with families.

Performance Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Promote physical, cognitive, and social development through age-appropriate activities.
• Assess children's developmental progress and plan activities accordingly.
• Establish positive relationships with families through effective communication and involvement.
• Demonstrate professionalism by attending meetings, training, and adhering to regulations.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills

The ideal candidate must have a BA or BS in Early Childhood or a related field, possess strong teaching, communication, and time management skills, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Special Requirements

Background check and fingerprinting are mandatory. The ability to handle stressful situations, maintain supervision at all times, and ensure children's safety is essential.

Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated in line with Sheltering Arms' policies.
