Infection Control Nurse -- LPN/LVN

Job Description

Genesis HealthCare, a leading provider of healthcare services, is seeking an Infection Control Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of an RN to oversee the Infection Prevention and Control Program for one or multiple centers. Responsibilities include Infection Prevention-Control Activities, Outbreak Management, Employee Health, and Outcome-Process Surveillance.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current LPN/LVN licensure.
• Specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two years in long-term care nursing with one year in a management/supervisory role.
• Previous experience in infection prevention and control preferred.
• Flexible availability including evening and night shifts.
