Job Summary:

The Job Cost Analyst oversees accounting functions at Palmer Paving Corp., focusing on job costing, work-in-process analysis, and accounts payable for paving operations. Collaborate with project management and estimating teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Essential Functions:

• Handle job cost reporting and contract scheduling.
• Prepare reports for construction operations.
• Analyze actual versus budgeted costs.
• Oversee Job Cost Specialist personnel.
• Manage project closeout process.
• Assist in audit preparation and budgeting process.

Requirements, Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience with Vista/Viewpoint software preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent communication skills.

Travel: Position includes up to 10-15% travel throughout New York and New England. This role operates in a professional office environment.
