Laboratory Supervisor - Core Lab - Middletown - FT/Days

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Supervisor to join our Core Lab team at our Middletown location. As part of the Kettering Health Network, the chosen candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the lab, ensuring quality control, and managing a team of employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate the work and employees of the lab section.
• Maintain accreditation standards, quality control, and inventory.
• Train, evaluate, and supervise staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Manage budgetary control and participate in Laboratory Ward Rounds.
• Coordinate student rotations and serve as an inspector for CAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory, Medical Technology, Chemical, or Biological Science.
• 3 years of Medical Technology experience.
• MT or MLS (ASCP) Certificate.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
