Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Issue Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services, a global leader in digital banking and payments. As a key player in our collaborative culture, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of assigned Consumer Banking Problems, identifying root causes, and taking action to minimize future impacts. Your role will involve working closely with various teams to ensure efficient issue resolution and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle and resolution of assigned incidents and issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of preventative measures.
- Collaborate with business partners to resolve issues within service level agreements.
- Maintain documentation and ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Mentor Service Support Specialists within the assigned line of business.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in business, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics.
- 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations, Project Management, or related fields.
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics.
- 1+ years of People Management or related experience.
Compensation: The base pay for this position ranges from $75,500.00 to $127,900.00, with additional incentives based on market competitiveness and individual factors such as experience and education.
