Job Description
Avesta Housing is seeking a compassionate and organized Leasing Specialist to ensure the efficient operation of a portfolio of properties in compliance with regulations. This position involves assisting applicants with eligibility, supporting Property Management, and maintaining a safe living environment for residents.

Requirements
- Excellent customer service and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in office software.
- Adaptability to changing business needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Judgment and decision-making abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with disadvantaged populations and affordable housing preferred.
- Knowledge of fair housing practices and regulations, experience with LIHTC properties desirable.
- COS certification within one year of employment.
- Minimum two years' office experience.
