Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Madison County Jail in Madison, Florida. At GENESYS Health Alliance, we are committed to providing quality healthcare services in correctional settings and aim to be leaders in the industry. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to care for detainees, administer both routine and emergency medical care, and treat various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient treatments such as blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring, and medication administration.
• Carry out nursing care plans as directed by medical providers.
• Conduct initial and ongoing screenings of individuals in a correctional setting.
• Explain procedures and treatment protocols to patients.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited licensed practical nursing program.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of employment and Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to work full-time and comply with security clearance requirements.
