Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at ThedaCare. As a vital part of our healthcare system, you will deliver patient-centered care and contribute to improving clinical outcomes through evidence-based practices and interprofessional collaboration.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform delegated tasks using evidence-based practice to collect patient data and assist in implementing care plans.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team to meet patient care needs and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in specific specialties and provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the patient experience and reduce costs.
• Promote a professional environment that fosters mentorship, engagement, and development.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin LPN Licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical Demands

Ability to move freely and lift up to 50 pounds. Exposure to bloodborne pathogens may occur.

Work Environment

Frequent exposure to sharp objects and occasional exposure to various environmental hazards. Standing and walking for extended periods required.
