Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Long Term Care/Rehab Unit at Levindale Hospital, located in Baltimore, MD. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to provide personalized care plans for our residents, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining high standards of medical and emotional support. This is a full-time position with day shifts from 7:00am-7:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing principles and assessment skills to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Oversee daily unit operations and provide leadership when necessary.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being of residents.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Active LPN license and BLS CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
- Compassionate and dedicated to providing exceptional care.
Unit Summary
The Skilled Long Term Care/Rehab Unit at Levindale Hospital consists of Halls, a 40-45 bed unit specializing in sub acute rehabilitation with high complexity needs. It offers a range of services and daily activities for residents, requiring staff members to be compassionate, motivated, and committed to assisting those in need.
