Job Description
The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team at the McClure Miller Respite House. In this role, you will provide hands-on care to terminally ill patients, offer support to their families, and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical and emotional care to patients at the McClure Miller Respite House or in their homes.
- Establish empathetic and respectful relationships with patients, focusing on individual needs.
- Support and educate families to provide guidance and comfort.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure compassionate care delivery.
Qualifications
- Active Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
- Compassionate attitude and dedication to providing quality care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
