Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Local City Driver/Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Reno, NV. As part of one of the country's leading LTL carriers, you will play a crucial role in the pickup and delivery of cargo, as well as loading and unloading trailers with precision and efficiency.

General Description of Duties

• Perform pickups and deliveries within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Utilize appropriate techniques and procedures for loading and unloading trailers.
• Actual duties and schedules may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required (training may be provided for candidates with less experience).
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Stable work record and safe driving history.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet medical requirements.
