Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at LifeBridge Health. In this role, you will work in Skilled Long Term Care at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The position is full-time with a weekend commitment on day shifts (7:00am-7:30pm) as a Staff Nurse.
Unit Summary
The Household units provide long-term care for patients at Levindale Hospital. Each Household consists of six units with 14 private bedrooms each. The LPN must understand residents' preferences, routines, and individual needs to deliver personalized care. Special attention is given to patients with dementia or reduced cognitive abilities in HH 5-6.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans under the supervision of the Clinical Leader/Director of Nursing.
- Assist in orienting and supervising nursing personnel on the unit.
- Manage daily operations on a per-shift, household level while taking on leadership responsibilities.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of nursing experience.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification and valid LPN license.
