Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met. This full-time position requires working night shifts with a weekend commitment.
Unit Summary
Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed long-term care unit specializing in subacute rehabilitation for residents with high complexity needs. Our team members are dedicated professionals who provide compassionate care and support to those in need.
Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing principles to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Attend to the daily operations of the unit and take on leadership roles as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Less than one year of experience as an LPN.
- License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
