Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Subacute Rehabilitation Unit in Levindale Hospital, Baltimore, MD. As an LPN in our Subacute Rehabilitation Unit, you will work the night shift (7:00pm-7:30am) with a weekend commitment as a Staff Nurse providing essential care to our residents.
Unit Summary
Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed long-term care unit specializing in subacute rehabilitation, catering to residents with high complexity needs. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated team members who are motivated to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, the LPN will utilize nursing principles and basic assessment skills to develop and implement individualized care plans. This role requires attendance to daily unit operations and leadership responsibilities as necessary.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Less than one year of experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma).
- Valid Practical Nursing license and AHA CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
