Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) utilizes nursing principles and basic assessment skills to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents in the subacute rehabilitation unit. The role involves attending to daily unit operations, providing compassionate care to residents with diverse needs, and assuming leadership responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent
- Less than one year of experience
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment
Unit Summary
Hall 1 is a long-term care unit providing subacute rehabilitation services to residents with high complexity of needs. Staff members in Hall 1 play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and dedicated care to support residents' well-being and recovery.
