Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Subacute Rehabilitation Unit is responsible for developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing. The LPN participates in the daily operations of the unit and assumes a leadership role as necessary. This position requires compassion, motivation, and dedication to providing high-quality care to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Participate in the daily operations of the unit.
- Assume leadership responsibilities when needed.
- Apply basic physical assessment skills.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent.
- Less than one year of experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid license for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical equipment.
