Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at Hall 1 in Levindale Hospital, Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time position with a night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, including weekend commitments. As an LPN in our subacute rehabilitation unit, you will be responsible for providing individualized nursing care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring the well-being of our residents. This role requires basic computer skills and familiarity with various medical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized nursing care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing.
- Assume leadership responsibilities as needed and contribute to the daily operations of the unit.
- Utilize basic physical assessment skills to meet the residents' healthcare needs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in utilizing medical equipment such as IV pumps, EKG machines, and specialty beds.
- Less than one year of experience required; new graduates are welcome.
