Job Description
We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at Levindale Hospital, located in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position requires a weekend commitment on the night shift from 7:00pm to 7:30am.
As an LPN in the Subacute Rehabilitation Unit, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, ensuring resident needs are met, and overseeing unit operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize basic physical assessment skills to deliver high-quality care to residents.
- Assume leadership responsibilities as needed and contribute to the overall operations of the unit.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet the complex needs of patients in the subacute rehabilitation setting.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing and a valid license for Practical Nursing.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment such as IV pumps and EKG machines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate compassion and dedication to patient care.
