Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to ensure the completion of all maintenance and repairs of military housing. In this role, you will lead a team of maintenance technicians and administrative assistants to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Essential Functions

• Manage and direct maintenance technicians and administrative assistants in performing repairs and preventive maintenance on military housing units.
• Respond to customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and verify completion of assigned tasks to meet work order metrics.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and company standards.
• Oversee vendor selection and uphold contract quality; manage vendor relationships.
• Keep detailed maintenance logs and provide reports to leadership.

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED; vocational/technical school training preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in property management or hospitality maintenance.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Universal EPA 608 HVAC certification.
• Proficient in various maintenance areas like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and availability for emergencies on a 24/7 basis.

Work Environment

This role involves office work and oversight of housing maintenance activities. Personal Protective Equipment may be required when visiting construction sites, with exposure to various hazards.

Physical Demands

Requires regular communication, sitting, hands-on work, and occasional lifting. Ability to move around sites, climb, stoop, and balance.

Travel

Minimal travel, less than 5%.

Compensation

Yearly salary range: $77,738.70 - $121,591.30
