Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join Sun Recycling, Inc.'s team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, installations, and skilled welding tasks to ensure smooth production. Your role will involve collaborating with engineers, adhering to safety procedures, and contributing to the overall team effort.

Responsibilities

• Participate in equipment installations and commissioning under engineer supervision.
• Conduct equipment maintenance and services according to established procedures.
• Troubleshoot emergencies and address simple malfunctions independently.
• Perform fabrications using appropriate tools.
• Prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and provide recommendations.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Contribute to team efforts and perform additional assigned tasks.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of industrial fabrication experience with high proficiency.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Completion of OSHA trainings preferred.
• Skills in blueprint reading, fabrication, mechanical and electrical work, safety awareness, and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in various environmental conditions including temperature extremes and hazardous situations.
