Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join the Mayroad team. As a Generalist Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential properties and various assets such as pools, community centers, playgrounds, and more. The role involves a wide range of maintenance tasks, from structural repairs to plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on residential properties, community areas, and amenities.
• Respond to emergency, urgent, and routine work orders promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents.
• Conduct on-call emergency services on a rotational basis.
• Ensure high maintenance standards and perform preventative maintenance inspections.
• Utilize Mobile Work Order app for efficient task management.
• Repair plumbing, electrical fixtures, household appliances, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and building appearances.
• Identify and address safety hazards promptly.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent; 3+ years of experience in general residential maintenance.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use mobile apps for communication.
• Safety-conscious with attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The role involves working in residential environments with some exposure to varying conditions and physical demands that require lifting, climbing, and other physical activities.

Travel

Minimal travel requirements (less than 5%).
