Job Description
Toyo Tires North America Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Maintenance Technician Apprentices. In this role, you will be responsible for basic preventive maintenance on advanced production machinery, including robotic-driven equipment with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Successful candidates should have mechanical experience and knowledge in areas such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs. You will be required to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on advanced production machinery.
- Work on robotic-driven equipment with programmable logic controllers.
- Demonstrate mechanical inclination and knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ensure proper oil lubrication, filter changes, and maintenance of AC/DC servo drives.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of mechanical experience, preferably in industrial equipment maintenance.
- Experience with Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 80 pounds.
