Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Manager of Facilities to oversee all aspects of facilities management at Friends of Youth. In this role, you will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, supervising Facility Technicians, prioritizing work orders, and providing excellent customer service to employees. You will play a crucial role in implementing preventative plans for facilities operations and ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.
Essential Duties:
- Monitor and maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Survey sites to identify maintenance needs and develop maintenance plans.
- Hire, train, and supervise Facility Technicians.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment.
- Manage the Facilities ticketing/request system.
- Collaborate with program managers and oversee property maintenance.
- Facilitate maintenance of agency vehicles.
- Coordinate repairs with vendors when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with budgetary plans and authorize expenditures.
- Identify and mitigate facility-related risks.
- Monitor and implement compliance with regulatory codes and safety standards.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Project Management experience.
- Experience with customer service systems preferred.
- Experience managing vendors preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS365 Power Platform.
