Key Duties

• Rebuild pump ends and conduct light diesel engine repairs.
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and servicing on fleet equipment.
• Provide on-site repairs or service at customer locations.
• Perform initial inspections, create parts and repair lists, and obtain approvals for servicing and repair.
• Test repaired equipment for quality and proper operation.
• Assist with system setup on customer job sites and deliver equipment as necessary.
• Respond to after-hours customer service calls on a rotation basis.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• Possession of basic hand tools.
• Preferred experience in equipment rental.
• Valid Driver License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of equipment repair, maintenance methods, tools, and techniques.
• Basic mechanical problem diagnosis skills.
• General knowledge of DC electric, circuit testing, and diesel engines.
• Understanding of safety practices and procedures.

Abilities and Skills

• Basic mechanical aptitude and communication skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts and hand-held devices.
• Proficient in using basic hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.

Working Conditions

• Prolonged standing, heavy lifting, bending, and other physical efforts.
• Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, exposure to varying weather conditions, loud noises, and machinery.
• May require extended hours, weekends, overtime, and on-call rotations.
