Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Mechanic III to join our team at High Star Traffic. As a Mechanic III, you will be responsible for performing various repairs, maintenance, and specialty services on gas and diesel vehicles, as well as other equipment in our fleet. You must have a strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and combustion engines to excel in this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex maintenance on vehicles, forklifts, and company-specific equipment.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct major and minor repairs, diagnose issues, and provide maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain detailed work logs and records.
- Collaborate on projects that contribute to organizational goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid C Class (IL) or For Hire Endorsement (IN) with a good driving record.
- Minimum 5-7 years of related experience.
Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of machinery, vehicles, hydraulics, and other systems.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
