Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Mechanic (Pump) to join the Holland Pump Company team. As part of our experienced pump team, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain rental equipment, with a focus on diesel engines. If you have excellent technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with rental equipment.
- Repair and/or replace faulty components and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of diesel engines, including Perkins, John Deere, and more.
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.
- Calibrate systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide customer service, explaining repair needs and processes.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Formal mechanic training from a trade school or accredited institution.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Capacity to lift and carry heavy objects.
