Job Description

COMHAR Inc., a leading community-based health and human services organization, is seeking a dedicated Medical Director to join our Medical Outpatient department. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality medical care, overseeing medical services, and ensuring the delivery of patient-centric care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of medical care across various programs while maintaining collaboration with external agencies.
• Provide direct psychiatric care and supervision, ensuring the highest standard of care.
• Lead administrative responsibilities including recruiting, training, and policy development.
• Maintain a caseload of patients under direct care while contributing to strategic thinking and operational practices.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD/DO) and Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• 10+ years of clinical experience with 4+ years in a management role.
• Experience with psychiatric rehab, recovery model, and serving culturally diverse populations.
• Valid medical license in Pennsylvania and familiarity with Clozaril and REMs reports.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
