Job Description
We are looking for a Medication Assistant to join the Experience Senior Living team. As a Medication Assistant, you will be responsible for providing medication reminders and assistance, administering medications, maintaining resident records, and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide medication reminders and/or assistance according to state regulations.
- Administer medications as allowed by state guidelines.
- Order and receive medication, communicate with the pharmacy when needed.
- Prioritize tasks to meet residents' needs.
- Maintain resident records daily.
- Perform regular room visits and checks.
- Assist with resident care as necessary.
- Monitor resident safety and well-being.
- Communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Conduct checks on resident self-administered medications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Medication certification required by state guidelines.
- First Aid and CPR Certification if necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
