We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Member Advisor to join our team at Hoosier Hills Credit Union. As a Member Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members, identifying their financial needs, and offering tailored solutions. Your role will involve building strong relationships with members, providing financial advice, processing transactions, and promoting our products and services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external members in alignment with the Credit Union's service promises.
- Act in the best interest of the members and the Credit Union, maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
- Champion knowledge of products and services to offer tailored solutions that align with member's financial goals.
- Provide accurate and efficient account maintenance, lending, and banking services.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance the member experience and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong knowledge of retail delivery products and Credit Union services.
- Experience in cash handling and customer service.
- Ability to analyze data and establish positive working relationships.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail setting with customer interaction.
- Preference for candidates with cash handling and lending knowledge.
Work Environment
- Normal physical demands with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting.
