Job Description
We are looking for a diligent Microbiology Supervisor to join Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As the Day Shift Microbiology Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing and maintaining the operations of the microbiology department.
Responsibilities
- Enforce sectional and departmental policies for efficient operations.
- Monitor supply purchases and personnel scheduling.
- Act as a resource for technical personnel, oversee training, and evaluate competency.
- Problem-solve department issues and update policy manuals as needed.
- Evaluate and support employee performance and development.
- Take responsibility for identifying and resolving department problems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MT/MLT certification from ASCP required.
- 5-7 years of MT/MLS experience in a hospital lab setting.
