As a Network Systems Engineer at ATN International Inc, you will contribute significantly to the efficient architecture and operation of our telecommunications network, supporting underserved communities in the rural Southwest. This role demands a service-oriented mindset, ownership of incidents, and adept problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot network issues effectively. Strong communication skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet the unique needs of rural communities are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage network performance, security, and reliability using network management tools.
• Administer Privileged Access Management applications for network elements.
• Resolve network issues, downtime, and security breaches, ensuring uninterrupted rural customer services.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain network management systems for rural communities.
• Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports.
• Plan and execute network system upgrades with a focus on stability and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Linux System Administration experience.
• Proficiency in network monitoring systems and scripting programs.
• Experience with database management and strong networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with programming/markup languages.

Desired Qualifications:

• Windows Server Administration experience and PAM systems knowledge.
• Experience with log management, DNS, and container management systems.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hiring Compensation Range: $100,000 - $140,000
• Comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, 401k, and more.
